I was listening to a Brian Eno interview the other day and he was explaining how “anyone” can now make music on a laptop, that the field isn’t limited to musicians and professionals etc. And I was like “You have to be kidding me do you know how hard it is to use the computer software to do even the simplest things?” This stuff has learning curves of not of week or months but years.

It sounds great.

Ahoy Eric -

Mmm Hmm, I did indeed - I had a nasty dust inhalation last spring at the theater and got a nasty year-long earache - lost a little hearing, got depressed - as a gift to myself, I went mac with full software and started learning to use it - I am still learning, but stuff is starting to finish up - things are much easier for me on the mac -

I have Hokey Smoke ready to release (you can buy it at PJ’s now and I’ll have it on Amazon soon) - Post Hokey (Static Radio Flux) is nearly ready for pressing - The “afterworld” record with Rob is nearly finished and a new record of midi drum/electric 1/2 size guitar stuff is about half finished -

frank did you learn MIDI? It sounds very suspiciously like you have finally learned how to do the MIDI drums on that track.
