Good News and Bad News
Hi Folks - Sorry I’ve been away so long - but,
BAD NEWS - My motherboard has bit it! All my music and art is in limbo or bust. I do have the files backed up on an external hard drive, but my apps may be screwed. Until my computer is fixed, I will have no access to recording, video editing, photography and more. This will undoubtedly slow down my progress on After World (which has 4 tracks finished, and another 5 nearing completion).
GOOD NEWS: I did manage to get World Is Out the Window out for manufacture before the stupid thing went kabluey. The World CD is being manufactured as we surf, and will be ready for sale in a couple weeks!
In the mean time, I will try not to stress about it and get some writing done. Wish me luck!

I think ASUS is in Texas and is closed due to Hurricane Ike - Their machine said “We are closed due to the storm” - 510 area code - anyway, I think the board is under warranty. I left a message on their machine thingee and am waiting to hear back…
In order to get to work more quickly, I may just buy a new motherboard now and build a second machine later with the warranty replacement (if I even get one)…

my asus motherboard blew up last week too. I felt around on motherboard and noticed some of the big capacitors were bulging. Oh well.
It’s quiet in my apartment now. Some place between peaceful and the eerie silence of the grave.
